DraftKings Casino in New Jersey Has Become a Millionaire Maker

With only seven (7) states currently offering online casino gambling services, there has not been much news related to players winning big jackpots. That's not the case in Europe where millions of online casino gamblers have access to hundreds of viable online casinos. It has become commonplace to hear about million-dollar slot wins in the news. DraftKings Casino Pays Two Huge Jackpots in 24 Hours

During the week ending June 18, 2023, slot lightning struck not once but twice in the state of New Jersey. It's noteworthy that both lucky slot players were plying their trades while using the DraftKings online casino platform. It's also noteworthy that both jackpots went well over $1 million with the largest payout coming in at a whopping $3.29 million.

The record $3.29 million hit came on June 13 when an unidentified player hit the progressive jackpot attached to Microgaming’s Ancient Fortunes: Zeus slot. The previous DraftKings record slot payoff came in April of this year when a player nailed $1.97 million while playing "Extra Chilli Megaways". In both cases, the winning wagers were for $.10 per possible winning combination.

While the $3.29 million winner was still basking in the glory of their big payday, another slot player encountered a similar fate on June 14. This time, the big win was $1.44 million while playing Microgaming's "12 Western Horseshoes," again from a minimum bet of $.10 per possible winning combination.

Since DraftKings launched its online casino in New Jersey, the operator has paid out a total of $13.49 million on progressive slot games. By all rights, DraftKings is entitled to the official moniker of "the Millionaire Maker."

In a news release, Jason March, DraftKings' VP of iGaming Marketing and operations, told the press:

“Crowning two millionaires in 24 hours was a monumental week for DraftKings Casino. The ability to give our customers the chance to win a big progressive jackpot on over 100 games makes me so proud of our product.”

At a minimum, management at DraftKings is hopeful that good news like this will draw more customers to the operator's casino site. By reputation, DraftKings has a reputation as the #1 Daily Fantasy Sports operator in the world. They have also done quite well for themselves in the sports betting space.

In other DraftKings casino news, the operator has officially launched a new table game called "Auto American Live Roulette." The game has been released in New Jersey with the expectation it will eventually be released in all five (5) states in which DraftKings is currently offering its online/mobile casino gambling services. That would include Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and West Virginia.
